A
unique Restaurant, Wine Bar and Winery Cellar Door complex in the heart
of picturesque McLaren Vale. The centre incorporates the historically
significant circa 1850s cottage, which was home to the local stonemason
and limeburner, and now houses the cosy wine bar alongside the delightfully
airy restaurant and cellar door complex.
The
Restaurant
Our aim is to marry our food with the Marienberg range of wines to
give you a dining experience to be remembered.
Limeburner’s Restaurant presents an ever-changing menu of modern
cuisine, focusing on flavours to compliment the extensive wine selection
from Marienberg and the many small boutique wineries in McLaren Vale.
This enables us to offer up to 20 wines by the glass.
The dining area has a light, airy, casual feel, surrounded by glass
concertina doors offering natural light and ambience, and the opportunity
on a beautiful day to become an open verandah-style dining area. Limeburner’s
is the perfect venue for small, specialised weddings or functions,
and offering the flexibility not available to larger establishments.
Limeburner’s comfortable, friendly atmosphere can be enjoyed
seven days a week for lunch and dinner, or anytime in-between to simply
relax over coffee or a glass of wine.
Disabled access to the restaurant is via the ramp from Marienberg
Wines Cellar Door. |

A Word From Our
Chef’s
Our philosophy is centred on quality and freshness. We are particularly
proud of our use of local produce, sourcing the best the region has
to offer, often from small producers. Our knowledge – and enjoyment
– of wine makes the task of harmonizing it with our food a joy.
We aim to captivate you with the best food on the Fleurieu Peninsula. |
